Bois Sikar by Atelier Des Ors is a woody, spicy fragrance that was launched in 2018 as a part of Noire Collection. The inspiration for this fragrance came from the founder Jean-Philippe's involvement in the cigar world. He wanted to recreate the special times shared with friends indulging in cigars and whisky from the Isle of Islay. The name "Bois Sikar" connects the wood of whisky barrels with the Mayan term for "smoking", namely Sikar, the origin of the cigar. The opening notes include precious woods and nutmeg. The heart of the fragrance is an aromatic woody blend of styrax, cedar needles, cedar and guaiac wood. The base notes include tobacco leaf and vetiver.
